Our dedicated Occupational Therapy team is committed to helping patients recover or maintain their physical, mental, and cognitive abilities as quickly as possible. They provide a comprehensive range of services aimed at facilitating a speedy recovery, including::
- Providing education on efficient and effective movements.
- Developing a personalized plan tailored to the unique needs of the patient
- Teaching caregivers effective techniques for caring for the patient
- Creating customized exercises to boost the patient’s ability to perform daily activities such as dressing and cooking
- Suggesting modifications to the patient’s home environment to enhance their mobility
We offer a caring and competent medical professional who holds a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license to assist clients during their recovery from short or long-term illness, injury, or disability. Our services include:
- Administering CPR (only with a doctor’s note verifying that the client is eligible to receive CPR).
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, or combing hair.
- Sharing information about care techniques with the client’s family.
- Providing medication reminders.
- Assisting with repositioning the client.
- Providing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming or dusting.
- Preparing meals.
- Utilization of specialized equipment for client care such as a Hoyer lift or a transfer gate.
- Running errands such as grocery shopping.
Our Speech Therapy program is designed to help patients who are experiencing difficulties with their vocal abilities due to a range of issues, including developmental delays, learning disabilities, or vocal strain.
